Nice blur of the water, beautiful color and especially like the "setup" of the composition in general. Nice depth of field also with detail in both shadow and highlight areas. Nice capture and well deserved sale but they should have bought it bigger... in the long run the extra money would be forgotten and the extra impact would have been enjoyed for years. I just don't "get" folks spending hundred and not paying a little more and getting a more adequate size print. This would be impressive in at least a 30x40. 16x24 not so impressive once you get it on a wall.

Yes I can hear it and feel it.... that is what a pic is supposed to do :)

It's such a great waterfall to visit, and it's a really lovely sight to see during the fall foliage!

My daughter, two little granddaughters and myself found the parking lot at Dupont State Park near Hooker Falls. Rain, lightning and thunder all around. We waited a few minutes, donned our ponchos and headed to Hooker Falls. Beautiful and just turning green all around. By the time we returned to the parking area, it was pouring rain. We decided (even the 8 and 6 year old) to 'go for it', crossed the road/bridge and up the trail towards Triple Falls. Hail began to fall on us for a few minutes, but we didn't let that stop us. All four of us made it down to Triple Falls rock area and photographed in the rain. Next trip we plan on making it longer and we will make it all the way back to the last view. WONDERFUL PHOTO DAVE !!!

Thanks Mike! Hooker Falls can be a tough one to shoot differently than everyone else ;-)
